Even experienced practitioners of mindfulness can appreciate this app. I am pretty good at periodically stopping and "checking in" with my body and emotions. However, this app makes the process even more mindful in that it can catch me at times when I need to check in, such as times of stress at work. It may seem that some of the videos and quotes are a little hokey -- I actually like them. In the moment youre checking your body and emotions, you often need a little nudge -- either to change the emotion or to remind you to revel in your good mood. This app is great for this. I havent analyzed my results but appreciate that it keeps track of your emotions. To me, the biggest selling point of this app is to continually remind you to check in and change your thoughts/moods/etc if you want to. My only qualm with the program is that it will sometimes "gong" at me to check in just moments after completing the last check-in. The check-in reminders dont seem to come regularly throughout the day but in groups of 2-3 back to back which is a little annoying. Other than that, Id give this a 5-star rating. To be clear, this is a good tool for people who understand the mindfulness process and who know what to do when you "check-in."
